Description:

1) Pack & Sons SS dagger, 8 3/4 inch blade with standard etching, (unverified Himmler inscription), SS runes and RZM "1211/39" markings. "II" marked guard, with standard inlays in the grip. With a blue and nickel finished sheath and black leather hanger with RZM "M5/8" (Assmann [sic] & Sons, Ludenscheid) marked clip. 2) E. Schrick & Son (Solingen) marked NSKK dagger (that was upgraded from a SATO NSKK configuration, 8 3/4 inch blade with standard etching, nickel fittings, brown wood hilt with standard inlays, and a nickel and black enamel finished sheath with NSKK pattern chain hanger

Rating Definition:

1)Very good as assembled, with some light scratching on the blade with a post war inscription. The hilt assembly is slightly loose, with mild dents on the wood and mild spotting on the guard and hilt. Sheath is good with light wear, and the leather shows mild cracking. 2) Very good, with light wear and rubbing on the sides of the blade and flaking of the enamel. Hilt is loose, with a thin crack in the grip and the dagger sticks in the sheath.
