The chamber is dated 1936 and the toggle is marked with the Mauser banner. "Crown/U" proof on the left side of the barrel extension and breech block. The back of the frame is marked with a circled proof mark and three Siam characters. Matching serial number on the left side of the barrel extension, front of the frame and bottom of the barrel with the partial serial number "79" on most small parts. Blue finish with straw colored small parts, blue unmarked magazine with aluminum base numbered to another gun, (5167/h) and fitted with un-numbered checkered walnut grips.

Arsenal/importer refurbished with 70% dull blue finish remaining. There is some muzzle and high edge wear and a brown patina on the grip straps, dark on the back strap. There is some pitting on the muzzle and the edges of the grip straps under the grips have heavy pitting. Most of the straw color remains on the small components. The grips are very good with some high point wear, a few minor dings and handling marks, and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
