Manufactured in West Germany with an extensive factory engraving. The tapered barrel is manufactured without sights and features a 5 inch section of engraved scrollwork at the muzzle and a 12 1/2 inch section of engraved scrollwork at the breech end. The scroll engraving covers most the receiver and bolt shroud with the engraving extended to the floor plate and trigger guard. The hinged floor plate also has a bellowing elk gold overlay. The rifle is equipped with a Weatherby 3x-9x40 scope with scroll engraved mounts. The engraving on the scope mounts matches the engraving on the rifle. The trigger is serrated and the bolt is fluted. Standard Weatherby barrel and receiver markings with ".270 MAGNUM" marked on the left side of the barrel at the breech. The high gloss pistol grip stock features a high comb, skip-line checkering, rosewood forearm tip and grip cap, quick release sling swivels and a vented Weatherby recoil pad. The grip cap has an inlaid diamond.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% plus original blue finish with a few barely noticeable light handling marks. The stock is also excellent with a few minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp. The scope has clear optics.
