Manufactured in 1971 by the craftsman of the Winchester Custom Shop, this is an attractive Winchester Model 21 in scarce three gauge configuration. All the matching numbered barrels are of equal length, with jeweled breech ends, flats and lugs, choked WS-1 and WS-2, with matte solid ribs and ejectors. Double steel beads and 3 inch chambers on the 410 set, ivory and steel beads with 3 inch chambers for the 20 gauge set, and double steel with 2 7/8 inch chambers on the 28 gauge barrels. Additionally, the 20 gauge barrels are marked "CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER" on the rib and "MODEL 21 WINCHESTER 20 GAUGE 3IN. CHAM. / MADE IN NEW HAVEN CONN U.S.A." on the left barrel, with a scallop and dot engraved border at the breech. A pair of high gloss, finely checkered forearms with ebony tip inserts and engraved hardware are included. Nick Kusmit Master engraved flat sided milled frame, in the #2 style, with "MADE IN U.S.A. MODEL 21/WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO/NEW HAVEN, CONN" on the jeweled water table, "SAFE" in gold on the tang, and a selective gold trigger. Checkered extra fancy high gloss walnut stock with gold initial oval and checkered naked butt, 14 inch pull, 1 3/8 inch drop at comb, 2 1/8 inch drop at heel and 3/8 inch cast on. The set is complete in a hard leather case with leather corner protectors, straps and handle, wine colored lining, and a canvas outer cover, along with a copy of Ned Schwing's book "Winchester's Finest: The Model 21".

Excellent plus, showing 99% of the original Custom Shop blue finish, with only the lightest handling and storage marks. A few tiny chips and dings are visible on the wood, which is otherwise excellent. Mechanically excellent.
