This shotgun is built on the 2000 Series Over/Under action with true Merkel Side Locks. The Side locks are detachable for easy cleaning. Single brass bead sight on the solid matte rib, 3 inch chambers, screw-in chokes, with ejectors. The barrels are blue and polished coin finish on the remaining parts. The action, side plates, trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware are superbly done with floral scroll engraving. In addition the left side plate has a pheasant in a wooded scene, and there is a duck in a marsh scene on the right side. The bottom of the action is marked "MERKEL". The three line address is marked on the upper barrel at the left rear and "2003SL 12 Ga." on the right. Greener cross bolt, double triggers, tang mounted safety and mounted with Luxus Grade multi point checkered walnut three piece forearm and pistol grip stock with a plastic grip cap and black plastic Merkel buttplate. Length of pull 14 3/8 inch. Complete with the original box numbered to the gun. This shotgun is consecutively serial numbered with two other Merkel Model 2003SLs in this auction. All have the full factory waranty.

New in the box. The box is good plus with some water damage on one end.
