The Premier grade was exclusively the product of the Remington Custom Shop, with masterfully hand-fitted components and superb embellishment. A product of unquestionable skill and dedication. This particular example is signed by Robert P. Runge, Master Engraver. Robert Phoenix Runge started his engraving career with Parker Brothers, moving to Remington along with his father in 1934, retiring in 1979 to work on the restoration and embellishment of vintage Parker shotguns. White front and nickel mid bead sights, and choked full. The three line address/patent numbers on the right side of the barrel is marked in a decorative panel amid a 6 inch wedge of floral scroll and punch dot engraving, which ends in a broad leaf design at the breech, and the same on the left side with the "* 12 GA. FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS" marking. The receiver shows almost full coverage of beautiful floral scrollwork, with a punch dot background and leafy vine border designs. The left side of the receiver has three scenes, a duck in a marsh scene at the front, two hunting dogs in a wooded scene in the center with "REMINGTON MODEL 1100 TF" in a banner at the bottom and a quail in a wooded scene with the serial number in a banner below. The right side has similar scenes of a pheasant at the rear, two hunting dogs in the center and a grouse at the front. The bottom of the left side center scene is signed "RPR". The trigger guard is engraved with the same pattern with a dogs head in a matte background oval panel in the center. Mounted with an extra fancy high grade walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with decorative bordered checkering, with a black plastic teardrop grip cap with diamond shaped inset, high comb, gold initial oval and solid Pachmayr recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches. Complete with a Gun Guard case.

Near new with only the slightest handling/storage marks. Every bit of the artist's craft shows through in the engraving, particularly in the game scenes, which give a strong sense of depth and detail. The wood is every bit the equal, with a deep, carved feel to the borders around the sharp checkering, and a very attractive degree of feathered and highlighted grain.
