Manufactured in 2002. This shotgun is a product of the Custom Shop and features D Grade floral scroll engraving on the action, with simple wavy line bordering and marked with the serial number and "Remington Model 1187D" on the lower right side. There is lighter scroll engraving on the trigger guard and a 2 1/2 inch wedge on each side of the breech end of the barrel. The right side of the barrel is marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y." and the left side "STAR LIGHT CONTOUR 12 GA 2 3/4 inch OR 3 inch". Double ivory bead sights on the matte vent rib, screw-in chokes, gold washed trigger and mounted with an extra fancy, checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a black plastic teardrop grip cap, adjustable comb and solid black Remington recoil pad. The shotgun comes with the box label and Remington Custom Gun Certificate, matted and framed. The certificate verifies the gun was completed on April 3, 2002 and is signed by the Gunsmith, shop Supervisor and Master Engraver Don Talbot.

Near new with a couple of minor dings on the rear of the forearm and overall slight handling/storage marks.
