Description:

According to Colt factory records (copy included). This revolver was shipped to the Standart Simmons Company as a single item on 4 April 1916. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 45" on the reverse. The left side of the trigger guard has the "VP" proof and a "B" stamp, with "GOVERNMENT MODEL/C 35321" on the right side of the frame. Fitted with the wide spur checkered hammer, short grip safety and smooth, flat mainspring housing. With a leather reinforced canvas case, two spare 2-tone magazines, and a 18-round cartridge block with "REM-UMC/18" rounds. Consignor notes state this arm was professionally restored by Doug Turnbull.

Rating Definition:

Near new as professionally restored, showing minimal handling marks overall. The case is very good, with some minor staining. The markings are clear and sharp with nice square edges, with excellent walnut grips. The pistol has a beautiful appearance.
