Produced in 1942, as part of a serial number range identified as delivered to the United States Navy. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address/patent marking with the Rampant Colt in the center on the left side of the slide and "P" on top. "W.B" inspected frame, with "P/VP" trigger guard marking, milled trigger, wide hammer, checkered arched mainspring housing, "COLT 45 AUTO" marked barrel and reinforced Colt wood grips. With a reproduction shipping box hand numbered to match the pistol.

Very fine as professionally reparkerized, showing 98% of the parkerized finish, with mild handling marks. Grips are very good, with light pressure dents. Box shows a small amount of wear and staining. Mechanically excellent.
