Blade front sight and 2-leaf rear sight, with a "2-44" dated Underwood barrel, Type I barrel band, standard receiver markings, Standard Products heel, flat bolt, stamped trigger guard, pushbutton safety and "SW" magazine catch. Smooth low wood stock with 2-rivet handguard, "*U*", "SJ", "H.M.R." and Ordnance stamps on the buttstock, "I" oiler cut and checkered buttplate.

Very fine, with 90% of the original parkerized finish, showing a brown color on the barrel, gray and brown on the barrel band, and gray on the right side of the receiver. Stock has been lightly sanded and revarnished, with some mild pressure dents and mostly visible markings. Mechanically excellent.
