One of 3,000 commemorative revolvers made in 1979. High ramped front sight and adjustable rear target sight. The top of the barrel is marked with the one-line Hartford address, "NED BUNTLINE COMMEMORATIVE" on the left, and "COLT NEW FRONTIER S.A.A. .45" on the right. Two line, three patent dates on the left side of the frame followed by the Rampant Colt and fitted with checkered Rampant Colt American Eagle relief grips. Complete in wooden presentation case with drawer, wine colored velvet lining, commemorative plaque and six nickel dummy cartridges. Also with original box and papers.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original nickel finish with what appears to be a flaw in the finish on the left side of the frame ahead of the cylinder, a few light scratches and handling marks and a faint drag line on the cylinder. The grips are as new. The case is near excellent with a few minor dings on the exterior and some minor contact wear on the lining. The cardboard box is excellent.
