Manufactured in 1975, this Colt Python revolver is fitted with a scarce 2 1/2 inch vent rib barrel. The sides of the barrel have the standard markings and the Rampant Colt logo is marked on the left side of the frame. Complete with the original "wood grain" box numbered to the gun.

Very good. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish with an area on the right side of the frame and an area on the cylinder that have been crudely touched up. There is some minor muzzle wear and a thin strip across the front strap of bare metal. "BC" has been crudely scratched into the left side of the frame and there is some thinning on the side plate and back strap. The grips are good plus with some minor chips along the bottom edges. The markings are clear. The action is excellent. The box is good.
