This is possibly an arsenal parkerized desirable WWII riot shotgun that was manufactured under contract by Remington Arms for the U.S. Army. The receiver has the Remington game scenes with "U.S." and an ordnance bomb on the left side near the breech with the standard Remington marking over the serial number in the center at the bottom. The top of the barrel is marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILION NY. MADE IN U.S.A." over the Browning patent markings and numbers followed by "U.S. ordnance bomb". The left side of the barrel is marked "12GA FOR 2-3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS". The left side at the breech is marked "CYL" and the right is marked with the "R.E.P." in an oval. Checkered pistol grip stock with a cross cannon ordnance cartouche and "FJA" and a browns hard plastic Remington buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 98% plus of the original respective finishes with a few very light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with some very scattered minor handling marks and some blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
