Description:

This is an early World War II production underwood contract M1 Carbine. Blade front and two leaf rear sights, with a Type I barrel band, "12-42" Underwood barrel, flat bolt, button safety and serrated "U" magazine catch. High wood stock, with 2-rivet handguard, Ordnance cartouche on the right buttstock, "I" oiler cut, "RMC" in the sling cut and a tan canvas sling.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 90% of the original parkerized finish, showing some light spotting and handling marks overall. Bolt retains 95% blue. Stock is fine, with dark lines present on the right side of the buttstock, scattered scratches, and some chipping of wood around oiler cut. Mechanically excellent.
