A standard WWII M1 carbine (receiver) that has been completely embellished by the American Historical Society to commemorate all Airborne forces. Highly polished, blued metal with gold plated accents on varous parts, as shown. Commercial M1A1 paratrooper stock with a pair of "Airborne Jump Wings" inlet into the right side of the pistol grip. Complete with leather sling, sealed magazine, double canvas magazine pouch, shipping box, and papers.
