Manufactured in 1902. Blade front and buckhorn rear sights on a "1" barrel marked with the two line address and "44 W.C.F." The patent date and the serial number are marked on the lower tang. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with ebony Schnabel tip insert and a Swiss pattern buttplate.

Good, showing a deep brown patina overall, with wear along the high edges and scattered spotting. The elevator is absent from the rear sight. The frame has turned a mixed brown and gray patina. Stock is also good, with dents and scratches. Buttplate is slightly ill-fitting at the bottom. Mechanically very good.
