Description:

Manufactured in 1910, one of the few carbines in .303 British caliber. German silver blade front and folding ladder rear sight, with the "WP" stamp and "303" on the chamber, and the two line address patent marks on the left side of the frame, "AUG.6.07" in a separate line to the rear. Smooth straight grip stock, with grasping grooves on the forearm and a smooth buttplate with storage compartment containing a pull-through bore cleaner.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 80% plus of the original blue finish, showing bright wear along the high edges, areas of gray and brown patina on the receiver, and scattered light handling marks. Stock is fine as lightly reoiled, with a few hairline cracks visible on the upper handguard, scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
