Green label on the lid with the side portion reading "FOR SHARPS RIFLE/20/Cartridges .40/Caliber 2 1/2Inch/shell" and the powder and bullet Grs. markings left blank. On one side of the box is the reloading warning label warning of using only Winchester primers and on the other is the purple oval stamp "FROM/JOHN P. LOWERS SONS./FINE ARMS & AMMUNITION./DENVER COLO."

Very good. The box is sealed in cellophane. There is one edge partially separated. There are some ink marks on the opposite side. The box has some old tape residue stains.
