Lightly engraved iron butt cap, silver thumb oval and wooden ramrod with horn tip secured by two brass pipes.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The metal surfaces have 40% original smooth brown finish mixed with a steel gray patina, with some minor flash pitting on the breech end of the barrel. The brass has an attractive aged patina. The stock is also very good with a small minor crack behind the left flat screw and some minor chipping around the screw. Overall there are a few minor dents and scratches, sharp edges on the flats and very crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
