Description:

The sides of the frame have a floral scroll and punch dot engraving with a line and dot engraving on the back strap. The barrel sides, top strap, area around the hammer and the barrel rib feature a zigzag line and dot engraving. The cylinder has engraved accents on the chambers. The top of the barrel rib has the model marking and the left side of the barrel has the address and patent date marking. The barrel and cylinder are numbered to the gun. Fitted with smooth bird head ivory grips which are marked with the number "62" (one digit away from the frame serial number) on the back.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The revolver retains 50% original nickel finish with the balance a smooth gray patina showing some very scattered mild pitting. The exposed brass has an untouched aged patina. The grips are very good with a minor chip missing from the left panel and a couple hairline age cracks. The ivory has an attractive color and grain pattern. Action needs work as cylinder does not always rotate when the action is cycled.
