Description:

Also known as the 3 inch Barrel Knuckle Duster, this model was manufactured in 1875 with an estimated total production of only about 250. The left side of the top strap is marked "MY FRIEND PATD. DEC. 26, 1865" and the serial number is on the bottom of the frame below the trigger, with "76" on the cylinder pin. Blue barrel and cylinder, niter blue hammer and trigger, and silver plated brass frame with standard floral scroll engraving.

Rating Definition:

Very good as refinished. The barrel and cylinder have a smooth gray patina. The frame retains 90% of the replated silver finish which has dulled with age. The exposed brass has an aged patina. There are a few small dents on the left side ahead of the cylinder. The markings and engraving are clear. The action is fine.
