Description:

30 1/4 inch single fuller blade, with niter blue panels on each side and gold accented engraving, including patriotic designs, leafy vines, floral themes and armament. The flat spine is marked "Sold by C & ID. Wolfe New York". Silver finished brass hilt, with a cut-through guard, ribbed bone grip and eagle head pommel. Black leather sheath, with silver finished throat and midband.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with a mixed gray patina on the blade, brown forming in the niter blue finished areas, and mild spotting. Strong traces of silver remain on the brass, with some signs of cleaning, mild handling marks and a small amount of verdigris on the throat. The sheath is good, with the tip absent, cracking and scuffs overall on the balance of the leather.
