Manufactured in 1864. The top barrel flat has the one line New York address, the left frame side is marked "COLTS/PATENT", and the left trigger guard shoulder is marked "36 CAL". The cylinder has the Navy scene and is marked "COLTS PATENT No 7127". Un-numbered loading lever, remaining numbers match. The number "2" is stamped on the butt above the serial number. Fitted with a one piece grip.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The revolver has a crisp mottled brown-gray patina with scattered traces of original blue finish remaining on the barrel (25%). There is some scattered mild pitting. Much of the cylinder scene remains. The grip straps have a smooth attractive aged patina with an embossed "10" label added on the butt. The grip is very fine with most of the varnish remaining, worn high edges, and a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
