The barrel and grips are numbered to the gun. Barrel has an extractor and is marked "ALLEN & WHEELOCK WORCESTER, MASS" on the rear left side. Fitted with fixed sights and smooth grips.

Good. The pistol has a dark mottled gray patina with some very scattered pin point pitting. The grips are very fine with some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.

The pistol has fixed sights with "E. ALLEN & Co WORCESTER, MASS/ALLEN'S PAT. MCH. 7, 1865" stamped on the left barrel flat. The barrel, extractor and grips are numbered to the gun.

Very good as period refinished. The barrel retains scattered traces of blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The frame shows light flaking with a patch of minor pitting on the right side. The grips are very good with a small surface chip on the left panel near the bottom and a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
