Manufactured in 1891 with a Rocky Mountain front sight and an elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. The top of the barrel is marked with address and patent dates in two lines and over the chamber is marked "32 Cal.". Mounted on a multi-point checkered two-piece walnut forearm and smooth straight grip stock with curved steel buttplate.

Very fine, 60% plus original blue finish remains concentrated mostly on the barrel and receiver. The magazine tube has turned to a plum/brown patina. The lower tang and trigger guard have a gray/brown mottled patina. The receiver has some brown streaks. The wood is excellent with the forearm having a few light dings in the checkering and the buttstock has been lightly sanded with some light scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
