Manufactured in 1875. This example features factory engraving with a silver plated brass frame. A scroll and punch dot engraving is featured on the sides of the frame with a zigzag border, a zigzag line design on the cylinder and back strap, star burst on the barrel lug sides and a zigzag line and dot design on the barrel. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address flanked by Maltese crosses and the left side of the frame is marked "22CAL". The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the barrel lug and butt (the 7 is stamped over another number).

Very good. The barrel retains 80% original nickel finish with some minor flaking. The cylinder retains 30% original nickel finish with a smooth mottled gray patina on the balance. The brass has been polished some time ago and remains for the most part bright. The slightly undersize grips are very good with some mild high edge wear and a few minor dents and handling marks. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. The action is fine.
