Production example with a sloping hammer. The top of the barrel has the large "-COLT-" marking in italic letters. Fitted with bird head grips (right panel is numbered to the gun).

Very fine. The barrel retains 60% plus bright original blue finish with the balance a mottled brown-gray patina. The frame retains 15% original silver plating with the exposed brass having an attractive untouched patina. The grips are very fine with some high edge wear and a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
