Description:

Officer's field tunic with five cord loops across the front. It is composed of gray wool with scarlet and white piping. There are scarlet accents on the cuffs and collar surrounded by white lace. The back has a simple pattern of single and double cords with knots at the top and bottom. The collar has an embroidered pip on each side. The epaulettes have silver fringe and a 57th East Kent Militia button. The epaulettes also have embroidered Lieutenant Colonel insignia over the VR cypher. The sash has silver and purple stripes, a red leather backing and silver and purple fringe. The silver and purple belt has a Queen's crown on the buckle and has sword hangers.

Rating Definition:

Fine showing some scattered insect tracking on the wool with a few large holes under the right arm. The lining shows some wear. The belt and sash are fine showing some darkening with age.
