Description:

This is a German silver beer barrel with a gilt crown on top, an inscription on the tap side translated to "His Majesty King George dedicated in gratitude from Artillery Corps Crimmitschau 29th 1903" and an inscription on the opposite side "A. Mummert/1898/100 Liter". Crimmitschau is a town in the state of Saxony, Germany. This beer barrel sits on a marble base. Measures 7 inches long x 9 1/4 inches tall x 5 1/2 inches wide.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, the silver has a bright appearance with some dark aged patina in the protected areas and some scratches. The gilt crown has aged. The marble base has some scratches.
