This is a silver memorial cup for the 16th Infantry Regiment inscribed "In the Year 1850" in German on the base. At the very top is a bust of a knight in armor with a feather plume on his helmet with an inscription around him at the top naming the regiment and "In Memory of" in German. The sides are composed of six panels with the names of those lost during the year with vines climbing around the corner posts. The base has intricate designs around the inscription and up the lower part of the main body.

Good, the silver has a dark aged patina in the protected areas with the remaining areas bright. The bust of the knight is missing some pieces.
