Designed during World War I, this 1918 Stahlhelm has been painted black, with a white and black swastika decal below the left vent horn, and a similar colored SS rune decal on the right. On the inside is the 3-pad webbing with 2-piece chinstrap, stamped "64" next to the Reichs Zeugmeisterei "RZ/M" on the left, and a set of SS runes on the right.

Very fine, with some flaking of the paint, and a brown patina on the exposed sections of metal. Mild cracking is visible on the leather.
