This is an example of an early production Mauser Model 1930 Commercial Broomhandle Pistol with shoulder stock. The top of the barrel chamber is marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N", with a "crown/U" proof on the left upper flat and the serial number on the left side. The left rear panel of the receiver is marked with the Mauser banner and the right rear of the frame is marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A. NECKAR/D.R.P.u.A.P." The "crown/U" proof is repeated on the top of the bolt handle. Integral blade front sight and tangent rear sight graduated from 50 to 1,000 meters. All blue finish and fitted with 12 groove walnut grips and lanyard ring on the butt. Complete with a wooden stock/holster with the Commercial Mauser banner logo stamped on the left rear.

Excellent with 98% of the original pre-war blue finish overall with edge and high spot wear, with some minor light scratches on the lower front edge of the magazine well/floor plate. The grips are excellent with a nice distinct dark brown finish. The wooden stock is also excellent with some minor handling marks on both sides mixed with a some minor light scratches, one through the Mauser Banner logo itself. The metal components retain 95% of their original blue finish overall. This pistol has matching numbers.
