Description:

This is an example of a contemporary closed bolt semi-automatic Thompson carbine. It has a finned barrel with compensator, fixed front sight and folding ladder rear sight. The vertical foregrip is smooth contoured walnut as is the pistol grip. The buttstock is smooth walnut with a sling swivel and a steel buttplate. Included is one stick magazine total, plastic Thompson hard case and cable lock.

Rating Definition:

Near new in the case with only slight handling/storage marks.

Description:

This is a standard aerial training shotgun with a single raised brass bead on the barrel, with "P/ bomb" and "* * * *" marked on the left side at the breech. The left rear of the barrel is marked "SAVAGE" followed by the two line address followed by "MODEL 720". The top of the barrel and receiver are marked "P" at the breech and the left front of the receiver is marked "P/ordnance bomb" followed by "U.S." Choked improved cylinder choke with 2 3/4 inch chamber. There is a "3" on the lower tang and the serial number is marked on the front of the receiver on the bottom. Mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and tiger striped pistol grip stock with a serrated buttplate. With only 15,000 sold to the military, the Model 720 Savage is one of the more rare WWII shotguns. This shotgun was donated for the Bobby Schilling Campaign.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The shotgun retains 95% original blue finish, with some thinning and normal disassembly wear on the barrel, and some thinning on the bottom of the receiver and on the high edges. The wood is excellent with a minor light scratch on the right side of the forearm and overall a few light handling marks. The markings remain sharp. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Manufactured with a ramp front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. This rifle left the factory as a cut-away demonstration model. The top of the receiver is tapped with filler screws for scope mounting. Mounted on a walnut forearm with contrasting forend, skip line pressed checkering and a pistol grip stock with contrasting grip cap and checkered plastic buttplate. With a Remington model 742 box numbered to another gun and Remington Teflon finish demonstration plate.

Rating Definition:

Near new with a few scattered handling marks overall. The box is good.

Description:

There is a Smith Vortex flash hider on the end of the barrel, a Picatinny rail gas block, a rubberized aluminum free float forearm, a rubber pistol grip and a synthetic fixed position stock. The top of the barrel is marked "RRA 5 56 NATO 1/9 CM". The upper receiver has a Picatinny rail, forward assist and a brass deflector. With one 20 round magazine total, black plastic RRA hardcase numbered to gun and shipping box.

Rating Definition:

New in the box with only the slightest handling/storage wear overall. The case and shipping box are both excellent.

Manufactured in 1942. Has a fixed front sight and two position rear peep sight. Mounted on a two-piece hardwood straight grip stock with sling swivels and a brass buttplate with trapdoor (empty).

Rating Definition:

Professionally refinished, 97% black finish with some muzzle and high edge wear. The refinished stock is good with some gouges, scratches and dings.

Manufactured in 1952 and subsequently imported by KBI Incorporated. Has an underbarrel bayonet, and a tan web sling. Mounted on a tiger striped hardwood pistol grip stock with finger grooves, sling swivels, a rubber recoil pad and is marked with the serial number, arsenal and date of manufacture.

Rating Definition:

Professionally refinished, 99% of the black finish remains with only some minor high edge wear. The refinished stock has a number of "x" marks on the left side of the buttstock and a small repair at the right front of the forearm and toe.
