Description:

This Revolver has a blade front and frame notch rear sight. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line Hartford address and patent date (1884-1895) markings with "COLT D.A. 38" on the left side with "2796" and a "P" on the underside. "RAC" stamped on the left side of frame, cylinder, bottom of right grip panel and bottom of left grip panel. "5936" on the cylinder latch, frame, and crane. "K" is also present on cylinder latch. The crane has a struck out number. Standard U.S. Army model markings on butt with a lanyard ring.

Rating Definition:

Fine, 30% original blue finish with the balance a gray/brown patina. There are a few dings on the barrel and front sight. Both grips are fine with a few light scratches, dings and a small gouge. Mechanically excellent.
