"RAC" stamped on the left side of frame, cylinder, and bottom of left grip panel. "8886" on the cylinder latch, frame, and crane, with "K" also present on cylinder latch. Standard U.S. Army model markings on butt with a lanyard ring. Accompanying factory letter verifies caliber, barrel length, finish, grips as "Not Listed" and that it was shipped as 1 of 400 to the U.S. Commanding Officer at Springfield Armory on June 1, 1903.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish with muzzle wear and thinning on the barrel, high edge wear, a mottled brown patina on the back strap and some thinning to brown on the front strap and trigger guard. There are some overall scattered minor scratches and dings. The grips are fine with some wear on the lower edges and a few minor dents and dings. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
