Description:

Manufactured in 1943. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked with the intertwined "USS" company logo and "U.S. & S CO./SWISSVALE, PA. U.S.A.", with a "P" proof on top ahead of the rear sight. LTC Robert Downie's "RCD" proof is on the left side of the frame above the "P" stamp, and the right side has the "UNITED STATES PROPERTY M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY" mark over the "No" serial number. "F5-10817" has been engraved on the underside of the slide. Fitted with a pair of Keyes Fibre grips. In a high quality canvas covered lockable case, with leather reinforcement, maroon felt lining, 2 extra magazines, and a small metal Union Switch & Signal plaque which is very unique.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 97% plus of the original Du-Lite finish, showing mild edge wear and handling marks overall, along with some light spotting on the grip straps. Grips are excellent, with mild pressure dents. Case is excellent some light external wear. Mechanically excellent.
