Equipment includes: the tan web M1923 cartridge belt dated 1941, tan web suspender pads dated 1945, camouflage field pack with attached shoulder straps and back straps which attach to the cartridge belt, correct camouflage rubberized poncho with camo straps for attachment over the top of the field pack, M1910 "T-handle" entrenching tool stamped "U.S." on the handle and blade with the correct 1943 dated cover, Collins Machete dated 1944 and stamped "U.S.N. Weaponry includes: a non-firing Model 1903 "training rifle/copy" of the Springfield M1903 rifle with wood stock, stamped on the buttplate "DUMMY TRAINING RIFLE MARK I - U.S.N." complete with a late green web M1 rifle sling, and a U.S.N. MKI 16 inch training bayonet, stamped on the plastic blade "U.S.N. - MARK 1" with the original fiberglass scabbard stamped on the metal chape "U.S.N. MARK - 1" which is properly attached to the side of the field pack. This is a grouping of exceptionally rare and original U.S.M.C. WWII items, ideal for display in home or museum. Consignor Note: Everything is correct WWII and in unissued to excellent condition in the very Rare Camouflage Material.

Rating Definition:

All items are near excellent overall, showing some color fading and minor fraying on the edges of some items. There is a small rip in the crouch area of the trousers which is nicely repaired and not noticeable. The equipment is all serviceable, and the practice bayonet, of which examples are usually found damaged, is excellent. The training rifle is excellent original as well.
