Description:

1) Scarce early U.S. model 1909, Bolo knife made by the Plumb Manufacturing Company. Has the original bight polish, 14 inch blade with U.S. Markings and a 1917 date, steel guard, full tang, smooth wood scales and a small brass cap. With original issue, leather scabbard marked, "LADEW/H.J.B.". 2) U.S. A.C. & Co. 1917 Bolo, 10 1/4 inch blade dated 1919, steel guard, ribbed wood scales, and a canvas covered, leather tipped "FRED MEDART MFG. CO./1918" sheath.

Rating Definition:

1) Good, with some light pitting concentrated towards the tip and light handling marks overall. Sheath is very good with clear markings, scuffs and stains. 2) Very good, dark patina with light sharpening marks on the right edge, minor pitting, some chipping of the handles with minor stains on the sheath. With clear sharp markings.
