Manufactured in 1910. Replacement barrel with the one line Hartford address stamped on top of the barrel, the left side of the barrel is marked "38 COLT", and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The right side of the barrel shows part of the original address marking. Matching serial number on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap. The assembly number "3254" is marked on the loading gate. Blue with casehardened frame and hammer. Blade front, frame notch rear sights, (rear sight slot has been widened) and fitted with ivory grips with a horse head carved on the right panel.

Partially refinished. The barrel has been refinished and remarked, and shows some thin blue finish remaining. The cylinder retains 90% original blue finish with a drag line, some scratches and edge wear. The remaining surfaces have been cleaned and retain a bright appearance. The custom grips are fine with an attractive patina in the grain. The action is fine.
