Manufactured in 1939. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address/1903 and 1918 patent dates, standard frame and slide markings and the serial number is marked on the front strap. Elevation adjustable front blade and windage adjustable rear sights, serrated trigger, serrated panel on the back strap, indicating designed for high velocity ammunition, blue Colt marked magazine and fitted with checkered walnut grips. Complete with the original maroon hinged lid box numbered to the gun, papers, sight tool and cleaning brush.

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% original blue finish with some thinning on the left side of the barrel and some edge wear. There are a few minor dings and some minor spotting on the back of the slide and frame. The grips are also excellent with some minor wear and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The box is near excellent with only some moderate wear on the few corners.
