Description:

Manufactured in 1895. The two line Hartford address/patent dates (1884, 1888) marking is stamped on top of the barrel with caliber marking on left side. A circled Rampant Colt is stamped on the left side of the frame. The matching assembly number "679" appears on the cylinder latch, frame and crane with the serial number stamped on the butt. Fitted with smooth ivory grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 90% bright original high polish blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The grips are very fine with some hairline age cracking (mostly on the bottom of left grip). The ivory has an attractive color and grain pattern. Mechanically fine.
