Manufactured in 1949 and is engraved along the right top edge of the frame "WESTERN STATE PENITENTIARY/177". This revolver features a serrated trigger, fine checkered hammer with polished sides, blade front sight and frame notch rear sight. Includes a Colt brown hinged lid box numbered to another gun.

Excellent, 94% original blue finish with some scattered minor scratches. The grips are excellent, having some tiny dings and scratches, with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good, showing some scuffs and scratches, the label is intact.

Excellent, 94% original blue finish with some minor scratches and sharp edge wear on the lower front of the frame and a small area of spotting on the left side of the frame over the Rampant Colt logo. Excellent grips show minor handling with a few light scratches and minor pressure dents to some of the checkering, which is otherwise sharp. Mechanically fine.
