Manufactured in 1912. The rifle has blade and adjustable sporting sights and a full magazine with the 1893 patent date on the takedown latch. The upper left barrel flat is stamped with the two line address and patent marking ahead of the rear sight with "32-40" stamped at the breech. The factory proof is stamped on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The serial number is located on the underside of the frame. The upper tang has the three line model/trade mark information. All blue finish and mounted on a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a metal forend cap and crescent buttplate.

Excellent. The rifle retains 90% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The wood is also excellent with some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
