Brass hilt, with a folding cross guard, raised floral and eagle decorations, and a brass wire wrapped rayskin grip. Nickel scabbard with brass fittings, cut-through scroll and leaf designs on the bands and scrolls on the tip.

Fine, with mild spotting on the bright blade. A deep aged patina is present on the brass components, showing strong traces of the gilt finish in the lower, protected areas. Scabbard is very fine, with minor scratches and handling marks.
