Description:

30 1/2 inch curved single fuller blade, with gold accented engravings in niter blue fields on each side. Gilt finished hilt with stirrup guard, an American Eagle on the right languet, ribbed mother of pearl grips and the eagle head pommel. Black leather scabbard, with lightly engraved gilt brass fittings.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with a mixed gray patina and mild spotting towards the tip of the extremely fine blade and 80% plus of the original niter blue and gilt finish. The pearl grips are excellent with an attractive aged yellow tone. The hilt shows a fine aged patina, with 30% of the gilt finish in the protected areas, and glue repairs to the washer. Scabbard is poor as non-professionally repaired.
