Gilt brass hilt with raised scroll and floral designs, American eagle on the languet, wire wrapped mother of pearl panels and a knights head pommel. Engraved brass hilt, with dual suspension bands and a frog stud.

Good, with spotting on the blade, mild handling marks and some fading of the nitre blue/gold finish which is 40% intact. 30% original gold finish remains on the hilt, with an aged patina on the exposed brass. Some small chips are visible on the grip panels. Scabbard is fair, with brown streaking, dents, and an absent throat.
