Description:

31 3/4 inch double fuller blade, with etched decoration on each side and the New York address on the left ricasso. Silver finished brass hilt, with raised leafy vine and patriotic eagle designs as well as a wire wrapped rayskin grip. Black leather scabbard, with brass fittings and "B.F. Harmon/from/Friends/-in-/Wheatland, N.Y." on the throat. A brass patriotic motif breast plate is included with lot.

Rating Definition:

Good, with a mixed gray patina on the blade, handling marks and spotting. Traces of original silver remain in the protected areas of the hilt and sheath furniture, showing a mixed aged patina overall. The grip shows light material loss, and the scabbard is fair as repaired.
