This an example of a Colt powder flask for the 1851 and 1861 Navy Model percussion revolver. The flask has a one sided relief crossed rifles and revolvers at the top over "COLTS/PATENT", a stand of flags, cannon, cannon balls and anchors.

Good as replated. The flask retains 90% of the silver plated finish with some brown patina on the balance. There is some evidence of file marks at the seam under the plating, due to repair. The spring functions well. Still, a good case filler for your Navy Colt as flasks with Colt's Patent marks are seldom found separate of a cased set.
