Manufactured in 1907. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address and "(BISLEY MODEL)/COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on the left side. The left side of the frame has the two line, three date patent marking followed by a circled Rampant Colt. The left upper front side of the trigger guard has the Colt triangle proof and "T" on the rear. Matching serial number on the frame, trigger guard and back strap with the assembly number "898" on the loading gate. Wide, low hammer spur with smooth wide trigger, and characteristic "humpback" grip. Blue with casehardened frame and hammer and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Very fine. The revolver retains 75% original blue finish with the balance thinning to a smooth gray patina. "LB?" is very lightly scratched into the front strap. The frame and hammer retain 50% original case colors with some areas fading to gray. The grips are also very fine with a few minor dings and handling marks, and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
