Manufactured in 1883. The top of the barrel has the two line Hartford address with the etched 38 caliber panel on the left side of the barrel. The left side of the frame is stamped "38 CAL". The cylinder has the partial serial number (118). Fitted with checkered grips featuring the embossed cop and thug motif with "COLT" at the top.

Extremely fine. The revolver retains 75% plus bright original high polish blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The grips are excellent with overall crisp checkering. The etched panel is very fine (see close up). Mechanically excellent.
